Loss of Vision E C D G O 20

2020 has come and almost gone and Christmas is here no matter what. I have a sleeping joyous feeling that needs to come alive but it is very hard time to let it out. Everything seems to be all left when I know it should be all right. I seem to be confused with what 2020 has given me but I hope its just something that happens when people forget how to live when they are out of sight.

The masks that we have been given to protect our breath also have been pulled up to high and now some don’t see the true light. Hate of everything that doesn’t conform with your thoughts is what it is all about.

The same people that don’t want God in our country still celebrate Christmas but no longer remember what Christmas is all about.

Anger has taken the place of understanding and everyone thinks they are right. Individuals think they can camouflage their words behind a flowered mask but it does not stop the excrements that come out of their mouth. Nothing seems to be morally good anymore. Innocent  citizens of our country are being punished for the sins of someone else and the mea culpa’s are never enough.

Knocking down the statues

has become a video game

and has nothing to do with what is right.

You can never wipe out history, destruction is not the building block of the future, it only reaffirms your the past. I think we should all rethink what Christmas and life is all about and maybe we will have special                                                         Holiday and Country in our                                                         heart.

Chirp Chirp Zzzz

Morning has come but the night is still asleep. My dreams are over and I lay here listening to the sounds that are magnified by the still of the night.

I hear a soft rumble of thunder that undulates through the air and a sleepy indecisive shower of rain begins to fall. If the birds are chirping I don't hear them at all.

Their songs of the morning are being washed away by the muffling sound of the groggy rain, but as I continue to listen I hear a slight tweet in between the raindrops.

The more I tune in and begin to count the chirps, the more they rock me back to sleep.

Colors of Happiness

The smile of a new day is written across the Golden Sky and it filters unto the water then covers the palette that we all hold in our hearts.

A deep breath and a smile that almost touches my ears awakens the colors that are in my soul. They compliment the embroidered colors of the sky.  I have been saving these zesty shades of colors for a while.

Now, I have enough not only to see the light but also feel the colors of happiness that are in my life.
